MANY SPECIAL THANKS to Gerald and Håkan for arranging an event for me in Oslo. The country is on its summer break now, so I’m especially grateful that they are taking time away from their other artistic priorities for this.

“Frie Kunster is closed in July, and I was inclined to turn down this event, but when I read the luci.a variations, I was convinced that the message of the book was important enough to open for the occasion of [idyll wilde's] visit to Oslo. So we are here tonight…”

THANK YOU EVERYONE again for being there on Sunday 26 July. Yes, we reached much more than the minimum of 20 guests. In fact, it was spilling over, and the atmosphere was lively, warm and inviting because of YOU. Deep appreciation for Gerald, who had to turn off the music, the lights, lock us out, and chase us off the sidewalk with his car at midnight. We didn’t want to go home.

As part of the Norwegian concert series “Cafe de Concert,” musical ensemble Duo Grata and poet idyll wilde will present an evening of songs and poetry. Love songs from Strauss, Grieg, Rachmaninov, and Sibelius will be performed together with poetry from idyll wilde among the angels and candles in Berlin’s romantic Cafe Johann Rose.

Im Rahmen der norwegischen Konzertreihe “Cafe de Concert” präsentieren das musikalische Duo Grata und Dichterin idyll wilde ein Abendprogramm mit Lieder und Poesie.
